About Guru Rails

Guru Rails was created in 2006 as a high quality manufacturer of rails, boxes, and jib features for ski and snowboard use.  Since then we have worked  on many different styles and designs always pushing the limit on functionality and originality.  We build what you want to exact specifications and love to build obstacles which are new and have never been tried before.  We understand that this industry is evolving at a tremendous speed and that because of this it is necessary to develop newer and better solutions ahead of the pack.

Our enthusiasm to ride created the company, but our thirst to create keeps us motivated in building our products. We love working with new clients who have the same motivations as we do in creating new features, with new set ups, in new places. It is our passion for what we do that keeps us motivated to create new and more exciting terrain park environments for the future.

Jason Brown

Aspirations: Mechanical Engineering student

Jason has been a riding since he was 7 years old.  He has had a love for building and creating just about anything since he was very young.  As a high school student Jason spent the majority of his time developing in the areas of design, metal fabrication and business.  It is this combination of his love of boarding and his skills with metal which lead him to start building rails and boxes for backyard rails jams years ago.  Currently Jason is perusing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology and working hard to advance Guru Rails in the future.

Aspirations: Architectural Design Major / Environmental Design Major

Thompson has a passion for being outdoors and building in the outdoors. This has always been one of the biggest parts of his life. Using nature as his play toy and a generator for new ideas, he believes that a person can have an infinite amount of fun in the outdoors no matter the situation. This belief has lead to his pursuit in the fields of Architecture and Environmental design.  He knows this is the wave of the future and will help our business work towards more sustainable practices and have a lower impact on the environment in our client's areas.
